A new year, a new issue.

Welcome to the newly redesigned People, Ideas, and Things (PIT) Journal website, currently displaying Volume 2, Issue 1. All summer, editors and student writers have been collaborating to develop and polish these articles. We’ve also been designing the new website, enhanced for navigation and visitor engagement.

Next up: FallFest! The PIT Journal will have a booth (not sure where yet) where new students can meet editors and graduate students involved in the project. We’ll be giving out information and buttons, hoping to churn up some new submitters for the fall semester.

The submission stream is also undergoing some refurbishment to help readers find and share content directly from the main page.

The PIT Journal is published at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. We are a peer-sourced, undergraduate research journal publishing scholarship from all disciplines.
